This has raised another question. Can Tiger see ultraviolet? I have to discuss this issue with some Vet friends in UK and States who may have some answer to this question.
Other question that was always bugging us was that why female Tigers produce more male in their first litters.
One of our scientist friend told us that a male would like to produce more males in his first few litters so he could get rid of them while he still young and strong and in later stages only the strongest gene will survive.
We have still not seen any effects of inbreeding in Tigers although they breed in same family that we have seen in Bandhavgarh.
If any one has any other record of this please mention.
